The second day of our vacation started out much better than our first...Nick pulled me out of bed bright and early to see the sunrise, so I knew he was feeling much better! The sunrise was beautiful and Peanut woke up smiling and ready to go!
We finally got in our first hike of the weekend...we hiked the Oberg Mountain trail. The backpack we had purchased for the trip worked great and Kendall loved hiking - anything that involves being outside and scenery to look at.

After the Oberg Mountain Hike, we went back to the hotel - everyone took a nap - and then we went to check out Cascade Falls in the Cascade River State Park.
Day 2 was a successful day! It actually happened to be Halloween as well. We ended the day by dressing Kendall in her Halloween costume and taking some pictures.
