Vacation Planning

So, Nick and I are planning a vacation in the next couple of months up to the north shore. Just a short weekend away so our little family can hang out!

Since Kendall - also known as "the peanut" - is still pretty little, so we figured pretty much all we can do with her is go hiking & swimming. Which is fine, we are really excited about it. However, in order to get ready for the hiking portion, we had to get this super duty child carrier/backpack from REI. This thing is no joke! Kendall will be safe and comfortable - and so will Nick! Because, lets be honest, he will be the one carrying it! It weighs almost 5 pounds on it's own,and then you add a 14 pound child - it's a workout just walking out of the hotel.

This carrier is pretty intense - you can also add a sun/rain hood to make sure the little one is protected from the elements! I sure hope Kendall likes it because we'll be hiking every weekend for awhile!
