On this beautiful Sunday, we took advantage of the weather and the Vikings bye week and headed out to do some hiking. Our neighborhood backs up to Patrick Eagan Park, so Nick strapped on the backpack, we loaded up Brynnie, grabbed Kendall hand headed out for a nature hike. Kendall walked ran most of the 2.5 mile hike.
This was Brynnie's first hiking adventure. She's a little older than Kendall was on her first hiking adventure....but same trails!
Who would have thought that same little baby girl was now leading the way as she sprinted through the trails! Pretty amazing.
Our last hike was on Thanksgiving in 2012 - a week before Brynnie was born. Here we are 10 months later.....
I was on the walk too....even though there is no photographic evidence of me being there!
I love how you can see Kendall's hair blowing back in the first picture as she runs!
