After seeing this post, I was inspired to make Kendall a dollhouse for Christmas. And by make Kendall a dollhouse for Christmas - I mean Nick was going to make her a dollhouse. However, be careful what you wish for...when you ask a guy who builds houses for a living to build a dollhouse....you pretty much get the most elaborate dollhouse ever.
Here is Nick coming up with the design....
That's right, he created a blueprint. Here is is up close in case anyone wants to make a similar dollhouse.

We used this paint for the walls, driveway and roof....it turned out awesome. Kendall even got to pick out the colors - not knowing what they were for of course!

Here is the dollhouse all set up on Christmas eve for Kendall to find it in the morning. We filled the dollhouse with Fisher Price Loving Family dollhouse rooms and figurines. Between us and the grandparents - Kendall got about 5 rooms to fill the house. Nick and I spent lots of time setting it up and putting things in the correct room.

Not sure why we spent so much time setting up the dollhouse - five minutes into playing with it, Kendall had rearranged all the rooms...and the car was in the baby's room.
Kendall is super excited about her dollhouse. In fact, when we tried to get her to open her gifts from Santa, her exact words were, "No, me play!"
